Meet our golf professionals

Membership gets you the bay, the data, and the courses. These are the people who turn all of that into a better golf swing — PGA and LPGA teaching professionals working with Scramblers members.

The Team

Who you’ll be working with

All five of our professionals teach out of the Pompano Beach clubhouse. Lessons are booked directly with each of them — and if you’re not sure who’s the right fit, ask Bill. He’ll point you to the pro who matches how you like to learn.

Ashton Samaroo

Ashton Samaroo

Golf Professional

Ashton brings years of competitive playing and coaching experience to Scramblers, working with golfers right across the range of skill levels.

His teaching approach is calm, analytical and highly personalized — focused on building repeatable swings, smarter decision-making, and confidence that transfers from the practice bay to the first tee. What sets Ashton apart is his ability to combine strong fundamentals with modern performance data. Using simulator metrics, swing video and launch numbers, he helps golfers clearly understand their own tendencies and make meaningful, lasting improvements — whether the goal is consistency, distance, short game performance, or competitive preparation.

He works with beginners developing a solid foundation, intermediate players looking to break through a plateau, and advanced golfers refining technique and course strategy. Group clinics are a particular strength of his, so if you learn better alongside other people than one-to-one, that's a good place to start.

Lessons take place in a private, climate-controlled environment that lets Ashton focus entirely on the golfer in front of him and the goals they walked in with.

Joe Turner

Joe Turner

Golf Professional · Swing Coach

Most coaches will talk you through squaring the putter face. Joe designed and patented a tool that shows you.

Granted in 2013, the training device is deceptively simple: a cylinder roughly the weight of a golf ball, ringed with movable rubber bands. Strike it with a square face and it rolls true. Strike it even slightly open or closed and it veers off immediately, in plain sight. Slide the rings outward and the tolerance tightens until square contact becomes genuinely difficult. There's no screen and nothing to interpret — it either rolls straight or it doesn't.

That tells you most of what you need to know about how Joe coaches. He's less interested in telling a player what went wrong than in building a way for them to feel it themselves, and then repeat it. The fault gets made visible first; the fix follows.

It's also why the Scramblers bays suit him. Launch data, swing video and instant replay do for the full swing what his trainer does for the putting stroke — turn an abstract fault into something you can watch happen and correct on the very next ball. Joe coaches through Golf Joes and works with players at every level.

Jo Anne Roy

Jo Anne Roy

LPGA Class A Professional

Jo Anne Roy has been a Class A member of the LPGA for 35 years, and has spent almost all of that time on a lesson tee.

She teaches clients of every ability — men, women, juniors, and players working back from injury — and is as comfortable with someone who has never held a club as she is with a low handicapper. She has instructed at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship golf clinics, taught at LPGA junior clinics held at tour venues, and spent several years as an instructor in the LPGA/USGA Girls Golf program. Her own competitive record runs through mini tours, LPGA tournaments and numerous LPGA national and sectional club professional events.

That combination — a real playing career alongside 35 years of teaching — is what makes her diagnosis so quick. Her reputation is built on solid, proven knowledge of the golf swing, delivered patiently and without a shred of intimidation.

If you're new to the game, she'll show you what each club is for and build a swing from the ground up. If you've played for years and you're unhappy with your scoring, she'll start with the short game and putting — which is where the strokes actually are.

Katrina Howard

Katrina Howard

LPGA Teaching Professional · TPI Certified

Katrina Howard is an LPGA teaching professional and TPI-certified instructor, and the owner of Clubs and Roses.

She started playing at around seven years old and has been teaching for six years. Her coaching comes from knowing the body as well as the swing — she is also a TPI and NASM fitness trainer and a facilitator in NLP and meditation, an unusual combination on a lesson tee that shows up directly in the way she works with players.

Rather than rebuilding a swing from scratch, Katrina works with the one you already have. In her own words, how you swing is unique to you, and her job is to make it efficient rather than to change it completely — natural and repeatable, not borrowed from somebody else. The emphasis is on tempo, flow state, and consistent ball striking.

That makes her a strong fit for players who are newer to the game, coming back to it after time away, or who have found traditional instruction intimidating. The style is calm and supportive, and the aim is that golf ends up feeling like something you want more of — not a test you keep failing.

Bobby Impaglia

Bobby Impaglia

PGA Professional · Swing Coach

Bobby Impaglia is a PGA Professional and former PGA Tour player, bringing decades of elite playing and teaching experience to Scramblers.

He has spent his career helping golfers of every level improve — from beginners building solid fundamentals to experienced players hunting more consistency and lower scores. A longtime PGA Director of Golf & Instruction for the City of Boca Raton, and now a swing coach at Deer Creek in Deerfield Beach, Bobby has taught well over 100,000 lessons. He's known for a calm, clear coaching style, and for working out quickly what's holding a player back and then simplifying the path to fixing it.

What makes the partnership work is his enthusiasm for the Scramblers environment. Tour-level launch monitors and instant swing replay let him pair a natural ability to break down a swing with real-time visual feedback, so players see and feel changes faster than they would on a traditional range.

In Bobby's words, being able to analyse a swing frame by frame and play it straight back gives golfers a level of clarity that's hard to reach outdoors. Whether you're working on fundamentals, dialling in consistency, or trying to take your game to another level, he has the experience to get you there.

What a lesson looks like here

Swing Video

Video capture and analysis of every swing you take, from multiple angles — so you see what your coach sees.

Tour-Level Data

Ball speed, spin, launch angle, club path and shot dispersion on every strike. Changes get measured, not guessed at.

Air-Conditioned, Year-Round

This is South Florida — a summer lesson on the range means heat, humidity and a shirt you’ve sweated through by the third bucket. Ours are indoors and climate-controlled. No sun, no bugs, no afternoon storms, no fading light. You swing better when you’re comfortable, and you’ll actually want to stay for the full hour.

Straight Into Play

Put the change to work before you leave — play a few holes in the bay in the same session, then take it into league play when you’re ready.
